Title：Periodic Line Bundles

Abstract：In 2005, Faltings associated to each Higgs bundle a generalized representation. And he also asked a question when such a generalized representation is a genuine representation. Later, Lan-Sheng-Zuo introduced the Higgs-de Rham flow and associated to each periodic Higgs bundle a genuine representation. In this talk, I will show that a periodic line bundle defined over $\mathbb Z_{p^f}$ is actually torsion. It is a p-adic analog of Grothendieck-Katz conjecture for line bundle.  This is a joint project with Kang Zuo.
