题目:  Third order approximation and Lyapunov stability of conservative systems 

摘要:   It is a central theme to study the Lyapunov stability of periodic solutions of nonlinear differential equations and dynamical systems.  We will introduce the fundamental ideas of the `third order approximation' developed by Ortega and Zhang, and will review recent progresses in this field, including applications to examples swing, the (relativistic) pendulum, singular equations and Keplerian equations.
